Sometime in the last ninety years, somebody was designing a logo for a business; an extermination business; Western Exterminators.
This week in San Diego, I awoke to the sight of the house across the street completely covered with huge sheets of canvas, held tightly together with clips and weighed down along the bottom with sandbags. A big banner on one end told the story — the house was being fumigated.
I tried to imagine an artist mentally going through the process; putting the guy in a tux and top hat, deciding to boink the mouse with a sledge-hammer. But give the mouse a knife, fork and…a bib!
Awesome.
